Gifts of Gold Jewellers was originally opened by Terry Pollock and Frank Matychuk in 1976. The two came together to open a business from different but complementary backgrounds... Frank was a watchmaker and did goldsmithing and repairs on watches and clocks; Terry had an extensive background in retail sales and jewellery. He was, and still is, the only Graduate Jeweller and Graduate Gemologist in Yorkton.

In 1978 Michael Doll joined the business. When Frank semi-retired a few years later, Michael became Terry's partner and the two have continued to operate the business together ever since.

Service is still the backbone of the business, as it has been for more than 25 years. Watch and clock repairs and goldsmithing are done on the premises.
